2010/11 CaverHubs
Due to the success of the 2009/10 CaverHub season, subject to board approval, Cavernoma Alliance UK are pleased to announce the 2010/11 CaverHub season. Dates, speakers and times are to be announced. But Cavernoma Alliance UK can announce the continuation of the series beginning with a Liverpool CaverHub. Dr Anita Rose, a neuropsychologist at the Walton Centre, Liverpool will be presenting a talk for our benefit in the Meeting Room at Neuro Support in Norton Street on Monday 13 September 2010 at 19:00 hrs. Refreshments and pastries will be available at 18:45 hrs and 20:15 hrs. Future CaverHubs will be in Leeds and London.
The London CaverHub will be a "special" with the Swiss Neurosurgeon Professor Dr Helmut Bertalanffy. This is a chance for members who heard him give the 2009 Alistair William MacQueen Memorial Lecture to learn about the advances in cavernoma surgery and new members to learn about this incredible neurosurgeon. In addition Cavernoma Alliance UK hopes to be participating in Brain Awareness Week at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London, with, we hope, Mr Neil Kitchen.
