| International Cavernoma Alliance UK Forum 2010 |
The Board of Trustees would like to invite you to attend the International Cavernoma Alliance UK Forum and AGM on Saturday 5th June 2010. It will be held at the Orion Suite, Grange Holborn Hotel, 50-60 Southampton Row, London WC1B 4AR from 09.00 to 17.00. | Brain Awareness Week Events for you to attend |
Cavernoma Alliance UK has two events planned for Brain Awareness week which occurs 15th to 21st March, 2010. One event takes place on 16 March at Neurosupport, Liverpool (tbc) with Mr Mohsen Javadpour, consultant neurosurgeon, at The Walton Centre.The other lecture is on 20th March 2010, 10am - 1pm, Old Boardroom, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. CA UK is fortunate indeed to have Mr. Andrew McEvoy, consultant neurosurgeon at the National, presenting a talk on cavernomas and epilepsy (epilepsy is a special interest of Mr. McEvoy's). Tabitha Bushill, now a board member of Cavernoma Alliance UK, who had an awake craniotomy for a cavernoma removal under Mr. McEvoy in November, will be introducing this gifted surgeon. read more ... This meeting was attended by the co-ordinator of Cavernoma Alliance UK on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 in London, and was chaired by Earl Howe of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Epilepsy.

| Beetles Drive to Help Cavernoma Alliance UK |
In April a group of New Beetle owners will be taking part in a Land's End to John O'Groats rally in aid of various charities including CA UK. Each driver has their own charity which they will be supporting and driving for, making this trip a very personal one. The trip is run over five days and will be visiting the Lake District, Edinburgh Castle (for a photo op), Loch Ness and Balmoral Castle. Our drivers Lisa Sparks and her partner.
